The Intermediate Corn Cycle

Corn prices move in cycles of approximately 2-3 years.  To illustrate this pattern, I have grouped these by every 2-3 year cycle dating back to 1990 as you can see from the charts below.  Through some basic statistical analysis, you can reason that there is a window when these events happen.  When you can do that, it becomes an aid to trading.
